SHAH ALAM, 21 NOVEMBER 2006 - National basketball player recently turned professional model, Jack Koo is driving home a brand new car, his big reward after winning the coveted title of 8TV''''s runaway-reality program, I Wanna Be A Model last month.
With his towering height and good looks complemented by his natural grace on the runaway, Jack beat fellow Top 4 finalists Eloise Law, Ken Tan and Caster Wenorica Chong during the show''''s Grand Finale Episode that was held ''''LIVE'''' on October 29th at Sri Pentas 2, Shah Alam.
Now, the lucky 22-year old from Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan is being presented with his own brand new Proton Savvy, courtesy of Proton Holdings Berhad (Malaysia). Mr. Yusri Yusuf, Cooperate Communication Manager of Proton Holdings Berhad(Malaysia), handed the set of keys over to Jack personally in a special prize giving ceremony that was held at Proton''''s Centre of Excellence Complex in Shah Alam.

More than 4,000 hopefuls answered the auditions'''' calls held in several cities like Johor Bahru, Penang and Kuala Lumpur when 8TV launched its nationwide search for Malaysia''''s next model back in June this year. I Wanna Be A Model is open to photogenic, single Chinese speaking men and women between the age of 18 and 26 who do not have a modeling contract.
The winner of the runaway reality show is selected based on viewers SMS and landline voting which comprise 30% of the overall tally and the remaining percentage (70%) was up to judges'''' discretions.
Besides driving away with a brand new car, Jack also receives a lucrative modeling contract with one of Malaysia''''s prestigious modeling agencies - andrewsmodels.
