I Wanna Be A Model Grand Finale

The search comes to a conclusive end tonight with the crowning of 8TV's I Wanna Be A Model...

SHAH ALAM, 29 Oct 2006 - The search comes to a conclusive end tonight with the crowning of 8TV''''s I Wanna Be A Model and a modelling contract with andrewsmodels awaiting the deserving winner.

Who amongst the four new faces will be the winner of I Wanna Be A Model?
 - Eloise Law (SMS code - Eloise), Jack Koo (Jack), Ken Tan (Ken) or Caster Wenorica Chong (Caster) who will be named as the first winner of I Wanna Be A Model?

The grand finale will be telecast "live" exclusively on 8TV at 8.30pm, and the winner of the reality show will be based on the audience''''s votes (30 per cent) and panel of judges (70 per cent). 

"We have four deserving candidates, each of them is capable of walking into instant stardom with the prized andrewsmodels contract," said 8TV General Manager of Business Development, Marketing and Communications, Ms Lam Swee Kim.

"I Wanna Be A Model gets more intriguing after each elimination round and it takes more than just looks and modeling skills to win the coveted title," she added.

The finalists were shortlisted after the preliminary rounds where the top two male and female participants were picked for Sunday''''s final round.  They were among more than 4,000 hopefuls who took part in the audition rounds in Penang, Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur.  I Wanna Be A Model is open to all photogenic, single Chinese and women aged between 18 and 26 and have no modelling contract.

8TV has teamed up with an impressive line-up of sponsors - Revlon and HL Milk as well as partners like andrewsmodels, Celebrity Fitness and New Tide magazine.

Stylist photographer cum director Christopher Low, Assistant Chief Editor of New Tide Jasmine Koh and model Steve Yap will lend their expertise in the selection process.  Andrewsmodels'''' founder Andrew Tan, make-up artist Monica Lee and top fashion stylist Victor Goh are the other members of the panel of judges.
