Thousands Joined 8TV On The Street!!

Petaling Jaya, 2nd June 2011 – It was all fun, fun and more fun as 8TV on the Street took place on the 28th of May 2011 from 4.30pm till 10.00 pm, at the AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Center. That’s right! As it’s name clearly states, 8TV took over the streets and was greeted with an overwhelming response testified by the thousands that flooded in for the festival.

The festival gave viewers and fans a chance to indulge themselves in the 8TV culture while having fun with our 8TV personalities, the 8TV Showdown 2011 dance crews, the Ultimate Power Star finalists and lots more. Apart from that there was also a flea market, games and telematch sessions, booth activities by the Ho Chak, Mandarin News, 8Style, The Ring Mission, Hot Chef, 8E-news, Step Forward and UPS teams, as well as 8TV’s very own parade! It was a day filled with colour, festivity and culture for the viewers of 8TV.

Airin adds, “This Street Fest was a huge success and we thank everyone who in one way or another worked to make it such a rich and spectacular event”

More than 8 thousand people from different walks of life participated in the all-day affair that ended with an exciting line up of performances that included the Ultimate Power Star Top 3 finalist, Chinese Acrobatics, a Kids dance performance, modern dancing, lucky draws and a mind blowing fire eating show!
