Awards 2010, Best Reality Show at Anugerah Skrin 2010, Best Reality TV Programme at Anugerah Sri Angkasa 2010 as well as Best Reality Show at Anugerah Skrin 2011. The time has come once again for the nations’ most eminent dancers around the country to battle it out for the ultimate dance supremacy.
After weeks of countless turns, fiery jumps, isolation of body parts, a stage full of flips and crazy head spins 12 crews have been spotted to compete in the next level, taking them one step closer towards earning themselves RM50,000, the title to Malaysia's best dance crew as well as the chance to  participate in the world's leading dance intensive education experience - The Urban Dance Camp in Lörrach, Germany.

The Showdown2012crew has traveled all around Malaysia in search for the ultimate dance crew. This year also saw entertainment escalate to a new level as Showdown2012 took its auditions virtually. After numerous eliminations from the hundreds of aspiring crews that swarmed in for auditions, battled their way into subsequent rounds each week and made it through the MELTDOWN phase–  it now boils down to the Top 12!

The crews who have “krunked” their way into the Top 12 spots are Dem Lepak Boyz, D’vol Blacky Wacky, E.G.S Monster, Inversion, Kitta Move, Project Elementz, Soulgang, Soul Krazy, Syko Breakerz Crew, The Hype, Walawei and We Taking Over - who will now compete at the Show Off and Dance Off stages in Kuala Lumpur (LIVE shows); where once again they will face the probability of elimination until the final battle – THE SHOWDOWN.

The LIVE shows will take place at the official LIVE venue KL LIVE, where each week the crews show off their skill to which the judges will share their view on the overall performance. SMS votes by the Malaysian public will determine the bottom 4 crews. The four crews with the least amount of votes will have to BATTLE it out for the judges before they decide which crew gets eliminated.
