Petaling Jaya, 1st November 2011 – For all you TVB fans, 8TV has a treat is store for you. Yes! A new show is making its way to your screens. Winner of TVB Anniversary Awards (2009), My Favourite Female Character -Tavia Yeung, Best Drama Scene by Tavia Yeung and Seoul International Drama Awards(2009) for Most Beloved Asian Stars and Hong Kong Best Star -Charmaine Sheh, Beyond the Realm of Conscience embraces you this November.

The drama dwells on the intrigues at the Emperor's palace during the Tang Dynasty. The Imperial Household Bureau is responsible for managing and directing all household services to the Emperor as well as the Imperial family. It is comprised of four departments, namely Jewels, Embroideries, Food and Furnishings. Lau Sam Ho and Yiu Kam Ling are presented into the bureau at a tender age and brought up in the disciplines of the palace. The two girls though diligent, endure maltreatment of higher-placed officers responsible of other departments. Yuen Tsui Wan, Head of the Jewels, and Chung Suet Ha, Head of the Embroideries, are both very fond of Sam Ho for she is a kind-hearted young girl.

As the drama proceeds both Kam Ling and Sam Ho succeed in obtaining higher positions in the court - Kam Ling by seducing the Emperor and Sam Ho owing to her undeniable talents. Not only is Kam Ling now in trouble with the Emperor's concubine, the friendship of Kam Ling and Sam Ho also start to crumble, when Kam Ling feels like she is losing her power to Sam Ho. Both ladies have authority, and to complicate the things further both of them are in love with the same palace guard!

Beginning on the 2nd November 2011, Beyond the Realm of Conscience will have you on your couch every weeknight at 7.00pm. Be prepared to hold on to your seats or be blown away!
