八度空间龙年打响头炮 收视率报捷继续稳坐龙头宝座

 

踏入新的一年，八度空间收视率持续报捷，在欢庆壬辰水龙年期间（2012年1月22日至25日），收视率更独占市场的百分之卅*，继续稳坐收视率的龙头宝座。（*资料来源尼尔森收视率调查）

秉持着为观众呈献最好最精彩的电视节目，八度空间在这个新春佳节期间除了引进不少海外节目和电影，也诚意制作适合合家观赏的本地节目。在排名前20名的节目当中，八度空间播出的节目就囊括了14个席位。包括全马电视首播的《我爱HK开心万岁》，无线电视首播的《大内密探灵灵狗》，还有周星驰的经典喜剧电影《大内密探零零发》，《千王之王》等多部电影更平均有超过40万观众收看；而自制的2012龙年运程《龙腾虎跃耀壬辰》也获得超过42万观众支持。综艺类贺岁节目应时应景，《超级达人秀》，《43周年万千星辉贺台庆》亦获得高收视率佳绩。其他位列20大节目包括：十月围城、台湾疯狂闹新春、翻滚go好玩新年特辑、鲁豫有约、八星报喜和戏说台湾新年特辑。

THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON HAS FIRED UP FOR 8TV!

PETALING JAYA, 1st FEBUARY 2012 - Malaysia’s hippest and trendiest television network 8TV, had ratings soaring sky high this Chinese New Year as it showcased for its viewers only the best in entertainment! Once again acclaiming the number one spot for viewership during this Lunar New Year, 8TV has managed to attract an impressive 30% in overall viewership ratings! *All figures are sourced from Nielsen Audience Measurement, from 22nd to 25th January 2012.

With a wide array of local and international Chinese New Year specials, 8TV has managed to dominate 14 out of the top 20 Chinese New Year Programme spots this year. 8TV has achieved many milestones in the broadcasting industry, placing many international and local awards under its wings. Strengthening its mark in the local network, 8TV continues to produce well-received in house productions. To add to the multiple winnings in the international and local creative awards scene such as the Phoenix Awards, Promax/BDA Awards and the Anugerah Skrin, 8TV recently secured themselves three international awards in two different categories at the 2009 Phoenix Awards that was held in Singapore. In the Opening Credits or Titles for TV Programme category, Silver was awarded for work on the Shout! Awards 2009 promo, while silver and a bronze were bagged in the Campaign to Promote Feature Film or TV Series category. In the 2008 Phoenix Awards, 8TV won four awards in two different categories comprising of the TV Promotional and Film Advertising/Promotion. Furthermore, the recent Anugerah Sri Angkasa 2010 saw Showdown2010 earn the award for Best Reality TV Programe while Shout! Awards 2009 acquired the Best TV Musical Show award. Adding to the list of top notch in-house productions, 2011 also saw the station win big when for the second year running at the network picked up Best Reality Show for Showdown 2011 and Best Musical Show for Shout! Awards 2010 at the Anugerah Skrin 2011.

At the Promax Asia 2009 Awards, 8TV carried home the Silver award for Best Public Announcement in its Merdeka Rasa Sayang ad, and was listed as the number 1 Choice for the Youth Market in the Advertising & Marketing Magazine. 8TV also won two awards including a Gold for Project Superstar interstitials and Silver for The Sarah Connor Chronicles interstitial at the Promax/BDA Awards.2011 saw 8TV bag A+M’s TV Broadcaster of The Year 2010 – Top (No 1) among Young Urban English Literate Viewers (Teenage Boys & Girls, Women Age 18-24, Female Fashion & Luxury Product Buyers & Frequent Travellers). 

Apart from that, 8TV won Best Entertainment Show for Project SuperStar and Best Reality Show for So You Think You Can Dance (season 2) in the Anugerah Skrin 2008. In the Anugerah Skrin 2009, 8TV was nominated in five categories including the Best Reality Show, Best Entertainment Show, Best Documentary/Magazine, Best Musical Show and Best Serial Drama. 8TV was also nominated for the Best Direction and Best Drama Series at the 2009 Asian TV awards. At the Asian Television Awards 2011 (ATA), 8TV’s Welcome To The Railworld (epi 7) was nominated for Best Lifestyle Programme. Also nominated at the awards were 8TV’s A Time To Embrace drama for Best Theme Song for sung by Henley Hii, titled `Guang Ying’ while Gary Yap Choon Kean was nominated for Best Actor In A Supporting Role. ¬¬
